Our conscious mind can only hold about 10 words for 10 seconds in working memory. NeuroCoaching uses face-to-face video conferencing to create an intensive dialogue between coach and client using brief sentences. Emphasis is placed on facial expressions, tone of voice, body language, deep listening, and intuition. These strategies have been documented in the book Words Can Change Your Brain, by Mark Waldman and Andrew Newberg, MD.

The principles of Neuro-Coaching integrate behavior-changing strategies with other therapeutic models. The objective is to identify problems and goals while the client remains in a deep state of relaxed awareness.
